Working on construction sites always involves an element of risk. That is why Firehalt Fire Protection takes it as its main social responsibility to ensure all our staff and other site personell are safe at all times while performing their professional duties, enabling them to return home safely every night.

Firehalt Fire Protection complies strictly with the provisions of the Health and Safety legislation and alongside our clients to provide and maintain a health and safe working environment.

Firehalt Fire Protection's health and safety objective is to minimise risk of occupational accidents and ultimately to help our clients achieve an accident-free workplace.

Safety training is regarded as an indispensable ingredient of an effective health and safety programme. It is essential that every worker in our organisation is trained to perform his or her job effectively and safely. In this regard all staff members hold Safe Pass cards and Manual Handling Cards as a bare minimum.

We invest in our people to keep the company at highest standards of professionalism. Firehalt operatives, surveyors and management regularly attend specialised courses and seminars to upgrade their skills and knowledge. We ensure our representatives hold all relevant certificates and accreditations and continue to develop in their specific field, achieving additional accreditations of other disciplines such as First Aid.

We have a Health and Safety Policy in place and are constantly working with our employees, clients and other trades to ensure we carry out best practice and improve our safety ethos. On each specific site we ensure our Site supervisors, contracts managers and even the Managing Director work with the clients and perform daily checks, carry out regular 'Tool Box' talks in order to achieve minimum risk of accidents or incidents.

Method statements and Risk Assessments are produced by our Managers on each specific site to identify the hazards present, the people at risk, to evaluate the risk and produce a safe system of work. We keep records of all relevant information throughout the project. This and all other relevant assessments are in compliance with our Health and Safety policy.
